Ltd.,which has been approved by the Hebei Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development to organize relevant departments and experts, and is now promulgated as the Hebei Provincial Construction Standards. The standard numbered DB13(J) 185-2020 was implemented from Jan 1st 2021. The energy efficiency of residential buildings in Hebei Province has increased to 75%. According to the requirements of different climate zone, window-to-wall area ratios and floor heights, the K value for external windows is limited from 1.4 to 2.2 W/m2・K.

This standard is edited by Beijing Institute of Architectural Design (Group).  “Beijing Design standard for energy efficiency of residential buildings” has been approved by Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources and Beijing Market Supervision Administration to organize relevant departments and experts, and is now promulgated as the Bejing Construction Standards. The standard, numbered DB11/ 891 2020, which will be implemented from Jan 1st, 2021. The standard will be to increase the energy efficiency for residential buildings from 75% to more than 80% in China firstly, and the heat transfer coefficient value of external windows is increased to 1.1 W/m2・K.

The standard, numbered DBJ/61-164-2019, which will be implemented from May 1st, 2020, which means the energy conservation standard has been further improved in this area. The standard will be to increase the energy efficiency for residential buildings from 65% to 75% in Xi’an and the heat transfer coefficient value of external windows is limited to less than 2.2 W/m2・K.

The standard increases the energy efficiency of residential buildings in Jilin Province from 65% to 75%. According to the requirements of different climate zone, window-to-wall area ratios and floor heights, the K value for external windows is limited from 1.4 to1.9 W/m2・K.

According to the distribution of the province’s climatic zones in the severe cold regions (A), (B) and (C), the heat conductivity coefficient of the external window is limited from 1.4 to 1.6 K [W / (m2 • K)], the level of air tightness requirement for outsides window (door) and the open balcony door is class 7.
