South Korea, Astar
This project is done in Korea, City of Busan where the developer specified a high performance windows due to the location of these three buildings known as the Astar which is located near the sea (about 800m). The wind pressure on these windows reaches up 6.5KPa in design, which is one of the highest ever tested in Korea back in 2005. These three buildings are 50 stories high, a special hardware mechanism was design to limit the window from the sudden wind pressure opening prior to actual opening of these windows. System used MD70.
